The Standard hotel has opened its first location outside of America in London's King's Cross neighborhood. The hotel is housed in a restored 1974 Brutalist building, just steps away from St Pancras International and Underground stations. Each room is uniquely decorated and includes a private bathroom and flat-screen TV. The hotel also features an eclectic library and a Sound Studio that hosts live music events and talks. Guests can enjoy delicious food and drinks at the Double Standard bar and terrace, including a bottomless brunch on Sundays. The building's exterior red elevator takes guests to the 10th floor, where they can enjoy Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias' live fire cooking and 360-degree views of London.
